VALUATIONS

We only offer valuations for Decanters produced by Arthur Bell & Sons or United Distillers plc.
Our fee for this service is as follows:
up to 5 Decanters £10.00
plus £ 1.00
for each Decanter over 5
All payments to be in £'s sterling.We will require a full description of the Decanter and a good indication of the condition. Please use the following grading system:

GRADING SYSTEM
|

|
Grade 1a
|
Full, sealed and perfect Decanter & perfect Box.
|
|
Grade 1b
|
Full, sealed and perfect Decanter, Box will have no
individual cuts or tears greater than 3mm, creases or discoloration
greater than 6mm. Total length of all cuts, tears or discoloration will
not exceed 15mm.
|
|
Grade 1c
|
Full, sealed and perfect Decanter, Box will have no
individual cuts or tears greater than 5mm, creases or discoloration
greater than 10mm. Total length of all cuts, tears or discoloration
will not exceed 30mm.

|
Grade 1d
|
Full, sealed and perfect Decanter, Box will have no
individual cuts or tears greater than 10mm, creases or discoloration
greater than 20mm. Total length of all cuts, tears or discoloration
will not exceed 55mm.
|
|
Grade 1e
|
Full, sealed and perfect Decanter, Box may have individual
cuts or tears greater than 10mm, creases or discoloration greater than
20mm. Total length of all cuts, tears or discoloration may exceed 55mm.

Grade 2a
|
Full, sealed and perfect Decanter. No Box.
|
|
Grade 2b
|
Full and sealed Decanter will have no individual marks
greater than 3mm and the total length of all marks will not exceed 6mm.
No Box.

|
Grade 2c
|
Full and sealed Decanter will have no individual marks
greater than 5mm and the total length of all marks will not exceed 10mm,
No Box.

|
Grade 2d
|
Full and sealed Decanter will have no individual marks
greater than 5mm and the total length of all marks will not exceed 10mm,
No Box.

Grade 2e
|
Full and sealed Decanter may have individual marks greater
than 10mm and the total length of all marks may exceed 20mm, No Box.

|
Grade 3a
|
Empty or unsealed Perfect Decanter, No Box
|
|
Grade 3b
|
Empty or unsealed Decanter will have no individual marks
greater than 3mm and the total length of all marks will not exceed 6mm,
No Box.

|
Grade 3c
|
Empty or unsealed Decanter may have individual marks
greater than 3mm and the total length of all marks may exceed 6mm, No
Box.
